Turners Falls seeks art 
for mini-park

Recorder Staff, Wednesday, March 02, 2016/TURNERS FALLS — Artists who want to make a permanent mark on downtown Turners Falls now have their shot. Sculptors can apply to install a piece in the mini-park on the corner of Avenue A and 3rd Street. The only requirements are that the piece withstand the weather and not pose a safety threat. No works designed to deliver a sexual or political statement will be considered. The chosen artist will receive $6,000 for materials and installation of the project that will go up in the fall of next year.
