Spiritual inspiration for their art

By AVIVA LUTTRELL, Recorder Staff, Sunday, October 25, 2015, TURNERS FALLS — As Franklin County celebrated its annual Pumpkinfest in downtown Turners Falls this weekend, sculptures of skulls, decaying fabric and eerie figures sat on display in the windows of the Storefront Galleries on Avenue A.

The artwork is part of an exhibition by six Greenfield Community College students that encompasses ideas of honoring the dead and the thin veil between this world and the spirit world.
