Building Bridges Community Mural
Montague Parks/Rec Building, Unity Park, 4-7pm
Kick-off meeting! Teen/young adult artists will meet with indigenous artists and elders to design and paint a mural at Unity Park. DESIGN sessions at the Carnegie Library: April 20 from 3-5pm, April 30 from 4-7pm, May 7 from 4-7pm. PAINTING in June. Contact: Elyssa at 413-279-4194.

Sing Along. Learn how enslaved people secretly communicated with one another through song lyrics, and the early African, Caribbean, and African-American roots of the banjo. Michael Nix and Gloria Mattlock

Your Exquisite Corpse: Interactive Exhibit
Great Falls Discovery Center, 11am-3:30pm
A collaborative and interactive exhibit based on the Surrealist game of Exquisite Corpse. Figure paintings of the Head/Shoulders and the Legs/Feet are executed by Nina Rossi and Jeff Wrench.
Short texts and poems will accompany each figure, also created by multiple writers. Visitors will have opportunities to interact with the event, including a chance to have the artists
and writers use them as inspiration.
