It’s a Wonderful Night in Turners Falls
RiverCulture presents “It’s A Wonderful Night in Turners Falls” Friday, December 10 from 5-8pm. Holiday promotions and unique gift buying opportunities are planned throughout downtown. Pick-up a birdfeeder craft kit at the Great Falls Discovery Center. The museum store will be open from 4-8pm. Children and adults alike are encouraged to put a wish list in the Magic Mailbox located in Spinner Park, on the corner of Avenue A and Fourth Street. Santa will arrive to collect the notes and greet children at 6pm. Cap-off the night at with the free holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946) at the Shea Theater. It was nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and has been recognized by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 best American films ever made.
