Montague Shakespeare Festival

The Montague Shakespeare Festival is envisioned by Executive Director Kenny Butler. Proceeds will benefit the Shea Theater Arts Center. This vibrant celebration of Shakespeare‘s work is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Shea Theater, RiverCulture, and the generous support of Greenfield Savings Bank, The Cultural Councils of Amherst and Montague and a Mass Cultural Council Festival Grant.

Fiona Ross is stepping into the directorial role for “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at the Montague Shakespeare Festival. She brings two decades of association with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) at Stratford-upon-Avon and a thrilling passion for Shakespeare’s works.
The Montague Shakespeare Festival is proudly presented by the Shea Theater Arts Center and RiverCulture with the generous support of Greenfield Savings Bank, The Mass Cultural Council Festival Grant and the MCC Local Cultural Councils of Amherst and Montague.
